Speaking Engagements

Marc LeVine is available to speak to your company or group on a variety of topics related to Social Media and Social Media Marketing.

Here are two of the more popular presentations we have presented to diverse audiences:

Social Media and Your Business

Generally, I don’t spend a lot of time talking about social media tools, since today’s tool is tomorrow’s outdated relic. It is of primary importance to talk about social media’s role as part of an overall corporate marketing strategy. Business people will appreciate that I mostly discuss social media’s impact and interrelationship with other areas of traditional corporate communications which include: public relations, marketing, advertising, business development, customer service and internal communications.

Social Media and Your Social Life

Never before in our lifetimes have we been so connected with the world on a 24/7 basis. Remember when we all had “pen pals?” And, pig Latin and “bop talk” on the telephone were once pretty cool? Who writes letters anymore? And, does anyone spend as much time talking on the telephone as they do texting from it?

Social Media has just about replaced all of the older forms of communicating we grew up with. Now it takes up more of our entire day than all of the above activities, combined, ever did. We’ll explore how social media is changing our lives and how we can get the most enjoyment and value from it without being totally overwhelmed by it. We’ll talk about today’s most popular networks, platforms and tools and how to successfully use them. We’ll also review proper “Netiquette” and drill down on the serious topic of trouble avoidance, which we all need to embrace to protect our privacy and reputations.
